NEEDS
PREVENTIVE SERVICES
Preventive Care and Instruction : We offer comprehensive
preventive services for adults and children. Our clinical staff,
consisting of Dr. Lingle and licensed dental hygienists and certified
dental assistants, provides expertise in diagnostic, preventive
and consultative services, including:
- intraoral examinations
- x-rays
- screening for gum disease
- screening for oral cancer
- routine cleanings
- fluoride treatment
- oral hygiene instruction
- occlusal sealants
- if indicated, specialty referrals
Routine Preventive : Our comprehensive diagnostic
and preventive services include x-rays, periodontal examinations
to evaluate gum disease, oral cancer screening, and thorough intraoral
evaluation. Our goal is to evaluate and guide each patient on a
treatment path that maintains teeth and oral health as best we
can for as long as we can. Routine preventive care demands daily
maintenance at home and regular hygiene appointments for cleaning
and fluoride treatments, as well as updating diagnostics and treatment
planning. As a general rule, patients (adults and children) should
receive preventive dental care every six months. Some patients
may require more intense maintenance. We provide individualized
treatment suited to the specific needs of patients with gum disease.
Preventive Care for Children : We recommend
beginning routine dental visits for children early, shortly after
their lower and upper front teeth erupt. When we see children early,
we can often prevent problems before they present with pain or
infection. Early dental experiences that are pleasant and successful
help make good dental care a habit. It is a great reward to have
young patients look forward to their visits. We try to instill
in our young patients an appreciation for good dental health and
a lifelong commitment to take care of their teeth.
GENERAL DENTAL SERVICES
Children : We offer the full range of general
dental care for children, for example:
- crowns (caps)
- tooth colored fillings
- spacers for lost teeth, and
- tooth removal for orthodontics
When indicated, we coordinate specialty care.
Adults : We provide the full range of adult
dental care, including:
- removal of teeth that cannot be maintained
- replacement of missing teeth with fixed and removable bridges
- restorative services for savable teeth, such as
- root canal (endodontic) therapy
- crown buildups
- various types of crowns
- tooth colored fillings
- crowns, bridges and dentures attached to dental implants
Philosophy of treatment : Your complete oral
health is our goal. Our treatment of an individual tooth is part
of an overall treatment plan which will result in your total oral
health. We believe this is important whether we are handling a
single filling or a full-mouth restoration.
COSMETIC DENTAL SERVICES
Whitening : We offer home bleaching systems
with custom-made trays and professional strength bleaching gels,
currently the “gold standard” for whitening techniques.
We also offer in-office bleaching of single or multiple teeth according
to the patient’s needs.
Cosmetic Restorations : Our cosmetic restorations
include:
- Replacement of discolored fillings
- In-office bleaching of the inside and outside of root canal
teeth
- Upgrading of failed or stained laminates
- Replacement of crowns with dark metal margins or dark tooth
at the gumline
- Cosmetic problem solving where natural teeth and crowns no
longer match in color
- Bonding for repair of minor color imperfections and defects
or gaps between front teeth
- Restorations on implants…and more
Modern dentistry offers a variety of cosmetic laminate and crown
restorations to make smiles attractive.
APPOINTMENTS
We see patients by appointment
only. Please call during business hours to schedule an appointment.
Our staff will request information during your call which will
assist us provide you with an appointment of the proper type and
length.
OFFICE HOURS
Our clinical staff sees patients
on Monday through Thursday from 8:15 am until 5:00 pm. Our lunch
hour is from 1-2 pm.
PAYMENT
Payment is expected at the time of service.
When you call for an appointment, our staff will obtain information
regarding your dental insurance and will try to address any questions
you may have concerning coverage or payment responsibilities. Presently,
we participate in the TriCare United Concordia (UCCI) military
dependent’s dental plan. For UCCI and all other dental insurance,
you should inquire about details when you call for your appointment.
